The position

At Center for Surgical Science (CSS), Zealand University Hospital Køge, we are looking for a highly motivated research coordinator and project manager to join our Data Science & Personalized Medicine team. The position offers varied and challenging tasks related to our research and data-science activities, including project-management for our largest projects within Data Science & Personalized Medicine. You will become part of a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled colleagues including medical doctors, data scientists, medical device professionals, bioanalytical professionals, researchers in biology and many amazing PhD students, all of us aiming to make a difference in healthcare.

The ideal candidate is passionate to shape the future of personalized medicine in healthcare and finds innovation and research intriguing. You are committed, structured and able to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines. At CSS we have special focus on cancer patients in need of surgical care and the Data Science & Personalized Medicine team provides the needed support in advanced analytics, development and implementation of data-driven results and software solutions directly in the clinic.

Two of our major ongoing projects, that will be part of your portfolio, revolves around the establishment of a feasible and scalable data science infrastructure for clinical purpose, including conduction of collaborative research within the Nordics.


Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of CSS project managing for your project portfolio
  • Coordinate with partners and stakeholders ensuring adherence to project deadlines and deliveries
  • Create academic reports to key stakeholders and funds e.g. quarterly project progression reports
  • Contribute to CSS research- and funds applications

Qualifications

  • Academic background in life science or related
  • Experience with research coordination
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with academic reporting in research
  • Experience in handling larger projects from start to finish
  • Experience with Data Science projects is a plus
  • Experience with IT projects is a plus
