We are looking for a highly motivated project manager to join Center for Surgical Science (CSS) at Zealand University Hospital. The position
We offer you a position in an international workplace within a multidisciplinary group of inspiring and skilled colleagues. The position offers varied and challenging tasks related to our research activities, including project-management ownership for our largest projects within Big Data & Personalized Medicine. We are looking for an experienced project manager, who are committed, structured and able to collaborate with colleagues across disciplines. We expect our project manager to be willing to learn and proactively seek out needed project information to handle tasks.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of our project planning
- Administrate budgets for our research projects and fundings
- Maintain our backlog, track project risks, milestones and deadlines
- Coordinate with partners and stakeholders ensuring adherence to project deadlines and deliveries
- Create up-to-date project overviews and report to key stakeholders
- Coordinate inputs to the yearly report for CSS (årsrapport CSS)
- Take part in our work with regulatory affairs and medical device regulations
Competencies
- Relevant academic background
- Experience in overall project management practices
- Proficiency in using project management tools and software
- Experience in handling large projects from start to finish
- Experience creating project overviews and reports
- Experience in administrating budgets/economy
- Experience with research related projects is a plus
- Experience with regulatory affairs and medical device regulation is a plus
- Experience with data protection is a plus
Who we are
As a world-class research institution, we participate in key global research initiatives and have been recognized as a Danish and EU leading establishment in our respective fields. We are based in the Department of Surgery at Zealand University Hospital and our aim is to improve the treatment of patients with surgical diseases, minimize morbidity and optimize clinical outcomes. The Big Data & Personalized Medicine section at CSS is providing the necessary infrastructure and support to the core clinical departments, in a common effort to achieve the centers’ goals. CSS currently consists of more than 50 employees.
